Love this chime. Heavy and sturdy, larger than I expected, and the sound is wonderful and deep. It does take a relatively strong wind to make it chime really loud, but even in mild wind, there is good chime volume. Love the copper color as well, and though I've only had it only a couple of months outdoors in the weather (very humid and lots of rain), it still looks new.

Wow. Just. Wow.
This is the wind instrument I've been looking for a long time. Beautiful melodic, deep, single tone, then another, slightly higher. Not incessant. When a nice breeze passes, it reminds me of a times I could hear a peaceful, easy bong miles away at sea.

A few reviewers have mentioned that this wind bell requires a strong wind before it gongs; however, I would say "gale force winds" is a bit of an exaggeration! If you want the deep tones and rich sonorities that linger in the air, you're going to need a bell of substantial size, which means that it obviously isn't going to sound with the faintest of breezes. I placed my bell in a strategic spot where winds wouldn't be impeded by neighboring houses or other obstructions, and it gongs quite satisfactorily on breezy days. -

I bought the Chime in antique copper and really like it. It's a handsome sculpture with a deep majestic tone. A heavy solid piece that I think will be around for a long time.
